Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Associate (Saint John, Indiana)

We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic employee for our Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Department to manage Shipping & Receiving tasks as well as maintain our warehouse.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years experience in a Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving environment. Forklift experience preferred.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly in an eight hour shift, effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing, to drive/make occasional deliveries with a 14 ft. 1-ton box van, have knowledge of standard shipping carrier practices, be computer literate, be able to promote excellent customer service at all times, especially in stressful situations.

Some of the typical duties for this position would be to process daily shipments & coordinate freight shipments (pickup & delivery); to respond to shipping-related e-mails; to organize & maintain shipping area & warehouse; to maintain warehouse inventory/specials; to perform inventory; to maintain forklift and warehouse equipment; to maintain forklift training and procedures for operation; to maintain Showroom; to respond to shipping confirmations, expected due date requests and any other questions that a customer may desire regarding their order.

Our starting rate for this position is $6-10/Hr., depending upon experience.
